Nike Golf revealed details on its Method putter that Lucas Glover used to win the U.S. Open and Stewart Cink used to win the British Open. Talk about Tour-proven! Its polymetal groove technology helps dampen impact vibration for soft feel, while creating a faster forward roll after impact, for accuracy and consistency. The putter won't be available in the market until February, although the company will release some limited, special edition quantities in November. Since switching to the putter, Glover's putts-per-round ranking has significantly improved. "This putter has made all of the difference in my game," says Glover. Paul Casey improved 43 spots in his putts per round ranking. "I fell in love with this putter the first time I putted with it," says Casey. "You can really feel the difference in how the ball comes off of the face and you can see the difference in how it rolls. It's really helped me with my confidence on the greens."…

Cobra Golf announced its Cobra S2 irons for avid golfers, which will debut in September. These high-MOI stainless steel irons have a forgiving mid-width stepped sole and an optimized heel-toe weighting using lightweight polymer materials. Meanwhile, a version for better players, the Cobra S2 Forged irons, are made of Forged 1025 carbon steel with CNC milled grooves – endorsing a soft, powerful feel at impact. They also have a cavity back with extreme perimeter weighting, as well as a Tour-inspired shape…
