Golf News, Source, The world number one will begin his year at the Buick Invitational in California on 26 January.

Woods, who will miss the season-opener in Hawaii to "recharge his batteries", turns 30 on 30 December.

I never thought I'd win 10 majors in my 20s. Hopefully, my best years are still ahead of me," said the American.

I don't feel old but I have been grinding on the PGA Tour for almost 10 years, which is pretty scary."

Woods took his tally of major wins to 10 last season with victories at the Masters and the Open.

I played a full schedule this year and never took an extended break," he said on his official website.

Golf News, Source Golf Digest By Tom Cunneff.- Hollywood has always been obsessed with rankings: box office, power, rehab facilities, you name it. And so it is with Golf Digest's ranking of the best golfers in TV and film. Having a good golf game is almost as important in Hollywood these days as the right agent. Topping the list of 100 players is Dennis Quaid, who carries a 1.1 USGA Handicap Index, though he's having a hard time playing to it.

"Golf is the only thing tougher than Hollywood," says "Everybody Loves Raymond" co-star Brad Garrett, who belongs to El Caballero Country Club in Tarzana. "It's the only thing that really takes you away from your daily s---. And coming from a guy who shoots 127, you can imagine how bad my daily s--- is."
