Carlsbad, Calif. (Apr. 19, 2017) COBRA GOLF, a leader in golf club innovation and technology, today introduced its most groundbreaking junior iron set to date. The new F7 JUNIOR ONE Length set of irons provide golf's younger generation with optimized performance, distance, forgiveness and consistency on every shot, through patented, single iron length technology.

COBRA's JUNIOR F7 ONE set features constant length irons that have been re-engineered for 7-iron length and weighting throughout the set, and are designed with optimized geometry to produce consistent trajectory and distance gapping from long irons to wedges. In fact, COBRA's research shows that across the board junior players testing JUNIOR F7 ONE irons improved in accuracy, with tighter distance and dispersion variation from shot-to-shot, leading to increased confidence and better iron play. In addition, the one-length design simplifies the set-up to promote one consistent swing through the set, leading to more centered club face impacts. Beyond long irons and approach shots, COBRA testing demonstrated improved short-game performance with the one-length set, due to the simplicity of set-up and execution.

"Since working with Bryson DeChambeau to help bring this concept to life in two adult sets of irons earlier this year, we have had requests from retailers and consumers to offer a set of one length irons for junior golfers," said Tom Olsavsky, Vice President of R&D for COBRA GOLF. "We tested these irons among a wide range of skill levels ranging in age from 13-15 and we found that universally they delivered more consistency and better performance for these younger golfers"

The F7 JUNIOR ONE irons incorporate COBRA's patented TECFLOTM technology delivering a set that utilizes advanced cavity construction to optimize the performance characteristics of each iron in the set. The F7 JUNIOR ONE's progressive head construction features a full hollow 5-iron that lowers CG for higher launch and more distance, a half hollow 7-iron for more accuracy with added forgiveness, cavity back scoring irons (9i-PW) to promote more spin for increased precision, and a specialty wedge design in the SW produces greater versatility for shot control into greens.

In addition, a new PWRSHELLTM face introduces a thinner face and sole structure that increases the Sweet Zone and delivers distance, precision and forgiveness. This, combined with Zone Weighting, allows the CG to be moved lower and more centered in the long irons to create even more distance and forgiveness. Additionally, CNC milling improves groove structures in these irons to deliver maximum spin and trajectory control throughout the set. Using COBRA's proven Progressive Spin Technology the company has combined progressive groove shapes and CNC milling to deliver maximum spin performance for each iron in the set.

The COBRA F7 JUNIOR ONE irons are designed for golfers between the ages of 13-15 years of age and are available in right-hand only (MAP: $449 - 5-piece set (5-7-9-PW-SW) with stock with Lamkin EPDM REL-Red, White and Blue grips and graphite COBRA Fujikura Fuel Jr. shafts that are 36.25" in length. The F7 JUNIOR ONE irons will be available at retail and online beginning April 21st.

Carlsbad, Calif. (Oct. 11, 2016) Cobra Golf, a leader in golf club innovation and technology, today introduced its most groundbreaking and versatile iron family yet, further expanding the offering of clubs under the revered KING name. The new KING F7 set of irons, along with COBRA's first-ever F7 ONE LENGTH set provides golfers with optimized performance, distance, forgiveness and control of every shot.

"The 2017 iron offering is COBRA's most innovative and exciting yet," said Tom Olsavsky, Head of R&D for COBRA Golf. "Not only have we improved our progressive sets this year, but we are introducing our first-ever ONE LENGTH option that will help to bring more consistency and simplicity to the game of golf for all players. In 2017 we will truly have an innovative, high-quality iron solution for every type of player."

The 2017 KING irons offering is headlined by the KING F7, which builds upon the popular KING F6 model that introduced the ultimate progressive set to the market. The KING F7 irons incorporate COBRA's patented TECFLOTM technology to deliver a set that utilizes advanced cavity construction to optimize the performance characteristics of each iron. A new PWRSHELLTM face introduces a thinner face and sole structure that increases the Sweet Zone and delivers distance, precision and forgiveness. TECHFLO along with a new Thin, Optimized and Personalized (T.O.P) polymer medallion badge that is lighter than steel, allows the CG to be moved lower to create even more distance and forgiveness. Additionally, CNC milling improves groove structures in these irons to deliver maximum spin and trajectory control throughout the set. Using our proven Progressive Spin Technology we've combined progressive grooves and CNC milling to deliver maximum spin for each iron type.

A full hollow design with PWRSHELL face insert in the long irons (3-5) delivers low CG with an extremely responsive face for easier to hit, high-flying long irons. In the mid irons (6-7), a half hollow design combined with PWRSHELL technology delivers optimal CG for more precise, easy-to-hit clubs, meaning more greens-in-regulation. The scoring irons (8-PW) utilize a traditional cavity back design with wedge spaced grooves for added spin and more control to attack the pins. Finishing out the KING F7 set is a specialty wedge design that provides added versatility and enhanced shot control greenside in the sand and gap wedges.

Available in both right-hand and left-hand, The KING F7 (MAP: $699 - 7-piece steel set (5-GW) (graphite available for $799 through custom only); $799 combo set steel - 4-5h + 6-GW; $899 - combo set graphite - 6-GW+ 4-5h;) irons are offered stock with Lamkin REL-Black grips and in either a Fujikura Pro 63i (graphite - stiff, regular, lite) or True Temper King F7 (steel - stiff and regular) shaft option.

The F7 Irons for women ($899 - 7-GW + 4-5h, 5-6h) feature the same innovative technology in the men's irons, including TECFLOTM construction, PWRSHELL face, Progressive Spin Technology and premium chrome plating for a nice finish and durability. The ladies stock combo set comes available with two hybrids and five irons. They feature COBRA Lamkin REL silver/pink or black/blue grips and graphite Fujikura Pro 55i.

The men's KING F7 ONE LENGTHTM irons make their debut as COBRA's first ever single-length iron set. Inspired by the brand's relationship with rising PGA TOUR star, Bryson DeChambeau, KING F7 ONE utilizes a similar TECFLOTM construction as the KING F7 along with PWRSHELLTM Faces and T.O.P. Technology. However, the KING F7 ONE features constant length irons that have been re-engineered for 7-iron length and weighting throughout the set, and are designed with optimized geometry to produce consistent trajectory and distance gapping from long irons to wedges. In fact, COBRA's research shows that across the board players testing KING F7 ONE irons improved in accuracy, with tighter distance and dispersion variation from shot-to-shot, leading to increased confidence and better iron play. In addition, the clubs one-length design simplifies the set-up for one swing through the set leading to more centered club face impacts. Beyond long irons and approach shots, COBRA testing demonstrated improved short-game performance with the single-length set, due to the simplicity of set-up and execution.

"I approach the game of golf a lot differently than most, primarily from a scientific standpoint," said DeChambeau. "I have a more technical, unique swing than many other players, but there is a misconception that single-length irons are only for a single-plane swing like mine. That is simply not true. Regardless of how you swing and what your skill level is, you can benefit from the simplicity of a constant length set of irons. I am proud to be at the forefront of this with COBRA as preliminary research has shown that single-length sets can make the game easier and more enjoyable for players of all swing types."

The KING F7 ONE (MAP: $699 steel; $799 graphite through custom only) will be available in both right-hand and left-hand versions, in steel stiff and regular flex, and graphite stiff, regular and lite flex, and will feature a 5-GW standard set make-up. They are offered with Lamkin REL-Blue grips with red and white accents and in either a Fujikura Pro 63i (graphite) or True Temper King F7 (steel) shaft option.

Carlsbad, Calif. (Sept. 19, 2016) - Cobra Golf, a leader in golf club innovation and design, today reintroduced its famed KING Oversized irons featuring COBRA's largest iron head and the brands largest Sweet Zone ever. The oversized profile coupled with improved performance technologies deliver an easy to hit iron built for explosive distance without sacrificing forgiveness or control.

"At COBRA Golf we are excited to bring back the KING Oversized set, and introduce our first iron that is at the USGA's COR Limit," said Jose Miraflor, Sr. Director of Product Marketing, COBRA Golf. "The oversized head will provide golfers with even more speed and distance from center and off-center."

COBRA Golf released its first set of Oversized irons in 1994 and they quickly became the performance standard and the game's best-selling irons from 1995-1996. Now, the new and improved KING Oversized irons are once again poised to be true game-changers.

Featuring an all new PWRshell face technology, which helps to lower and center CG (Center of Gravity), and provides a thinner, lighter face and sole structure, delivering higher ball speeds across the face for more distance. A full-hollow body construction throughout the set, delivers a soft, yet solid sound for higher launch and improved consistency. Additionally, a 100% milled face improves groove structures for maximum spin and trajectory control, while progressive spin technology delivers optimum spin performance throughout the set. V-grooves on the 4-6 irons reduce spin for more distance, U-grooves on the 7-PW increase spin for more controlled shots into greens, and wedge spaced grooves on the GW and SW produce extra spin for scoring around the green.

Multi-material cavity construction with a new aluminum medallion badge saves weight that is then positioned by high density tungsten weighting in the toe, creating the low and centered CG in an oversized head. A premium nickel chrome finish provides long-lasting durability and smooth aesthetics.

"Really the key to distance is lower CG, which is a big challenge when you create a larger iron," said Miraflor. "Our multi-material cavity construction and strategically placed tungsten weighting in our KING Oversized irons allows us to place CG lower, which ultimately delivers more speed and higher launch."

The Oversized iron set in RH or LH, available November 4, 2016 in store and at cobragolf.com/oversized, is comprised of 8 irons (4-GW) available in steel ($999) in stiff and regular flex or graphite ($1,099) in stiff, regular and light flex. The irons feature a black Lamkin Ace Crossline grip and come stock with a UST Recoil 460 ES graphite shaft or a True Temper XP 85 steel shaft.

Carlsbad, Calif. (March 29, 2016) - Cobra Golf, a leader in golf club innovation and technology, today introduced the KING Utility Iron, the brand's first adjustable hollow body utility iron that offers multiple loft settings in a single club. The KING Utility is available in a 3-iron, featuring a large sole with a hollow head, and is packed with COBRA Golf's game-changing metalwood technologies including MyFly8 that allows golfers to seamlessly adjust the loft to best fit their games.

The KING Utility Iron provides the feel and performance of an iron, combined with the forgiveness and slightly higher flight of a hybrid. The club's 17-4 hollow body design and a new 455ss L-Cup Face, combined with its 67 gram tungsten weight strategically positioned low and back in the head, deliver optimal Center of Gravity (CG) and high MOI. The new L-Cup face design produces increased speed and higher launch, the key performance benefits golfers look for in a utility iron.

The true game-changer in the KING Utility 3-iron is the use of MyFly8 Technology in an iron. A first for COBRA and a first for golf, this proprietary technology affords golfers an ability to fine-tune their designed launch conditions from a 3 iron at 21o down to a 2 iron at 18o.

"This club is perfect for the golfer whose last iron stops at 4 and needs a 3i, or the golfer whose longest iron stops at 3i and needs 2i distance somewhere throughout the round. The KING Utility iron allows a player to perfectly gap his long iron game and offers three draw settings to fine tune trajectory," said Tom Olsavsky, Vice President of R&D, COBRA Golf. "We designed this Utility iron with Rickie Fowler in mind - he currently uses this iron at courses he deems a match for this style of play."

The KING Utility iron (MAP: $199 steel; $219 graphite), available in RH only, will be available May 1, 2016. It comes equipped with a Steel KBS C-Taper Lite shaft in X-stiff or Stiff flexes ($199); or a Graphite Aldila Rogue Black 85g in X-stiff, Stiff or Regular flexes ($219). Loft range: 18o, 18.5o, 18.5 o draw, 19.5o, 19.5o draw, 21.5 o, 21.5 o draw and 22 o.

Carlsbad, Calif. (March 29, 2016) - COBRA Golf, a leader in golf club innovation and technology, today introduced the new KING F6 Baffler 4/5 Fairway. Building on key technology from COBRA's iconic Baffler products, first introduced in some of the brands original clubs more than 40 years ago, the KING F6 Baffler utilizes the iconic rail system blended with today's F6 adjustable weighting technology to provide players with their choice of a penetrating or towering trajectory and maximum forgiveness.

The KING F6 Baffler features rails that provide the golfer with improved turf interaction and the ability to exit divots more smoothly. The front of the rails improve turf forgiveness from any lie, while the back of the rails help to glide out of the turf more smoothly. The F6 Baffler Fairway comes equipped with two Center of Gravity (CG) positions and 15-gram and 3-gram moveable weights that can be exchanged to deliver penetrating or towering trajectory, depending upon player preference and what the day's course conditions require. MyFly8 delivers eight loft positions (loft range: 16 O, 16.5o, 16.5 O draw, 17.5 O, 17.5 O draw, 18.5 O, 18.5 O draw and 19O) to fine-tune players' long game.

"The KING F6 Baffler will help golfers glide smoothly out of the turf, helping get the ball up in the air from anywhere on the golf course," said Jose Miraflor, Senior Director of Product Marketing & Creation, COBRA Golf. "This is a key club that Rickie Fowler has in the bag on Tour, changing back and forth between this KING fairway and his KING Utility Iron. The front of the rails help provide forgiveness when sliding through the turf and preventing excess digging, while the trailing edge of the rails help smooth out any imperfections of his shot."
On the F6 Baffler, COBRA engineers continue to use a two-piece metalwood construction where the forged 455ss face is welded on to a 17-4 hollow body. Utilizing a higher strength steel forged face allows engineers to make the club thinner and lighter for increased speed and forgiveness. The club is also slightly shorter in length, 41.75 inches, (standard 5wd is approximately 42.5inches) which allows golfers to be a little steeper and more aggressive when needing to get the ball in the air.

Available May 1, 2016 in RH only in Black, the KING F6 Baffler 4/5 wood (MAP $239) comes equipped with a COBRA REL 360 Grip and Matrix Red Tie Q4 shaft in X-stiff, stiff, regular and lite flexes.
